High-temperature foil heaters are industrial components able to heat up rapidly and maintain a very high temperature over a very long period. These might be of interest to you if you need such components for a specific industrial application. Some examples of those applications follow.
Freeze and Condensation Protection
Let’s say that you operate a massive freezer in your industry. You want to be able to monitor the temperature and make sure things are kept consistently frozen. However, many of the gauges and whatnot typically cannot withstand cold temperatures. Ergo, high-temperature foil heaters are used to keep these monitoring components from freezing and/or accumulating a lot of condensation that otherwise makes them difficult to read.
Proper Operation of Medical Equipment
If your industry produces certain pieces of medical equipment, then you need these foil heaters too. The foil heaters are most found inside blood analyzers and test tube heaters. These machines look for chemicals in the blood, diseases in the blood that can be destroyed by heat, and the means of breaking down infectious agents.
Computer Laser Printers
Laser toner cannot bond to paper without first encountering heat. The lasers used in these computer printers generate enough heat to make the toner bond without igniting the paper. Without the foil heaters, the laser printers would not work properly. Foil heaters are also used in several other computer peripherals, but laser printers are the most common pieces of computer equipment for foil heater installation and use.
