Highly successful ventures are often seen as a combination of experience and expertise in an industry as well as significant backing from already established companies or businesses. When it comes to Ecotech Visions, Pandwe Gibson is a pioneer in the green technology and the manufacturing business.
To understand the dedication and persistence that was required for Dr. Pandwe Gibson to get her vision to the point it is today; it is important to learn some basic facts about Ecotech Visions and how it has evolved.
Just an Idea
The entire premise of Ecotech Visions was just an idea that Pandwe Gibson had developed. However, Dr. Gibson did have past experience in bringing innovation to life. She was a co-founder of ReNEW, the first Charter Management Organization in the Southern United States.
She brought that experience and her passion, education, and understanding of green technology and manufacturing in all aspects of her quest to develop what is now the gold standard in green business incubators and maker spaces in the Miami area.
Making Adjustments
While she always had a clear vision, Pandwe Gibson and Ecotech Visions started small. The current location in the Green Corridor of Miami is EcoTech Visions biggest location and the one that offers the space, features, and potential that match the goals Dr. Gibson set for the company.
Today, Ecotech Visions offers a full line of resources and services for small companies and entrepreneurs transitioning into green manufacturing and technology. Offering a vertical garden, maker space for light manufacturing, a full prototyping lab, and a full range of support services on-site, this is a one-stop-shop for new business ventures.
Dr. Pandwe Gibson also started a non-profit foundation through EcoTech Visions, which is essential in helping people in the community to obtain computer skills in a free Digital Bootcamp. The foundation also offers business fellowships and externships that benefit participates and members at Ecotech Visions.
