There are several different kinds of heat transfer products to choose from for industrial machines or vehicles. They are designed in different ways to move heat from one place to another, and they do this for purposes of heating up a room or cooling down a room. Also, they can be used to reduce the heat in an engine. A radiator or an oil cooler on a vehicle is a perfect example of a heat transfer tool because it moves heat from the engine to the atmosphere but for the purpose is cooling alone.
Radiators and Oil Coolers
Radiators and oil coolers are fairly complex in execution but simple in conception. They’re some of the most sought-after heat transfer products in Illinois because they’re used in almost every vehicle and industrial machine. The radiator or cooler circulates a heat-resistant fluid. In a radiator, it is a specially-designed coolant, while in an oil cooler, it is engine oil. As the fluid circulates, it absorbs heat from the running engine; the liquid then gets back to a radiator where it travels through a series of coils. The coils are on the front of the engine and exposed to the outside air. As the air passes over the fluid coils, it removes the heat, cooling the fluid. The fluid then resumes its circuit through the engine.
Great coolers and radiators can be found at D & B Heat Transfer Products Inc. They offer more than just radiators and coolers.
Heaters and Air Conditioners
If you need heat transfer products to heat or cool an area, you can find them here. They work in basically the same way as radiators and coolers by taking the heat from one place and moving it elsewhere. For example, a radiator can absorb heat from running machines and radiate it through a cold building to warm it.
