As the fluid circulates, it absorbs heat from the running engine; the liquid then gets back to a radiator where it travels through a series of coils. The coils are on the front of the engine and exposed to the outside air. As the air passes over the fluid coils, it removes the heat, cooling the fluid. The fluid then resumes its circuit through the engine.
